NEW WOMEN-ONLY BJJ FOR SELF-DEFENSE CLASS
Pesadelo Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is proud to announce the beginning of our Women-Only Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) class focusing on effective Self-Defense Techniques starting on February 3rd. Come join other women in your community and learn this new, exciting grappling sport that has proven to be the most effective self-defense martial art.
Class Schedule
- Tuesday, 6:00pm-7:00pm
- Thursday, 6:00am-7:00am
Class Description
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is based on leverage and technique rather than size and strength—and for those reasons, it could very well be the perfect art for women. The techniques we learn in class are not dependent on strength and conditioning, so the Jiu-Jitsu you learn today can be used today!
The women’s only classes are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00-7:00 pm and you are also welcome to join in any of the co-ed classes we offer. No prior experience or extensive fitness level necessary, it is a great way to have fun, get in shape (since jiu-jitsu focuses heavily on the core and legs), learn some self defense, and challenge your mind all at the same time!
The Class Program will include:
- warm-up
- BJJ drills
- Self-Defense techniques
- Controlled Sparring (optional)/Technique Drilling
